Compassion in Islam from kady babs's blog

One feels compassionate when you build a special connection with someone. Eventually things will be connected and will affect your life with little co-incidents related to it. While you feel connected, you will feel affection too, you would know your responsibilities in a better way.

See it around you and you would know that people need you in their tough times the most. Even if it is not about tough situations they still need you because for some reason you are connected to them.

Compassion should be shown towards:

Parents: Your parents deserve kindness from you because the pain they have gone through just to make you a better person like you are today is exceptional. Remember that no one other than parents will be more compassionate and loveable for you.

Children: children are innocent and they keep no grudges to revenge or for any purpose. So, just be kind with them because they are pure and just need some attention with love. Show mercy towards them so you will receive that too.

Life partner: Prophet (PBUH) advised both husband and wife to be kind and compassionate for each other as you are made life partner to comfort each other in different matters of life.

Relatives: Be firm in your relations and stay positive forgive who have done wrong to you and seek forgiveness. Never be the first one to break any relation and try to be kind to them.

People who are sick: Prophet (PBUH) has always shown special affection towards the one who are sick. People who are suffering should be treated with much kindness. >>

Orphans: Muhammad (PBUH) has promised that one will stand beside me who will take care of any orphan.
